Connect marketing activity to operational readiness

Why a website, a campaign and the team handling enquiries need one coordinated plan—not three separate calendars.

Plan the complete customer journey

A campaign does not end when someone clicks an advert. The visitor needs a useful destination, accurate information and a reliable way to enquire. The team receiving that enquiry needs enough context to respond and follow up.

For businesses combining digital and physical marketing, map how interest moves between channels. Keep the offer, contact details and follow-up expectations consistent so a promising lead is not lost in the handover.

Coordinate dependencies before launch

Website updates, creative approval, advertising and customer follow-up often depend on different people. Bring those dependencies into one launch plan with named owners and review points. If the landing page is not ready, increasing campaign activity is unlikely to solve the underlying problem.

A shared tracker in Google Sheets can be enough to make priorities visible. Google Analytics can support website measurement, while the team's records help connect enquiries to subsequent actions. Agree on the measures before interpreting the results.

Report outcomes with context

Reach and clicks can indicate activity, but they do not explain the full business result. Track the steps that matter to the agreed objective, such as enquiries, follow-up and confirmed sales, using consistent definitions.

When reporting a result, distinguish the wider team's contribution from an individual's work. A coordinated website, advertising and physical marketing effort is a combined initiative; its outcome should be described with that context intact.
